Good Evening,
The sun is about to set on a very fine day. 55 degrees and sunny;
the hottest day of the year so far. For an hour and a half I hiked
across the property seeing which plants were getting ready to leaf out.
Lots of pollen from the alder trees but not enough to sneeze. I never
did find the grouse which was drumming because he kept moving.
Oh, I just found out a neat service: Google will easily map a three
dimensional function for people. Paste
sqrt(x*x+y*y)+3*cos(sqrt(x*x+y*y))+5 into the search engine and watch
the function rotate in 3-D. Lots more fun than the graphs we had to
draw in school :)
