Elecraft CW Net Announcement

Good Evening,
    After last week's wind and rain today is very nice.  Back to short
sleeve weather for a while.  The elk are moving through and so are the
hunters.  As I watch out the window it is interesting to see deer only
minutes after a truck passes.  When I am out splitting wood I find deep,
hard trails where they cross the property.
    Propagation was much improved yesterday from the solar blast.
Hopefully that will continue.  I was off the air for a while because of
the storm last week.  At the end of the forty meter net I was driven off
the air by QRN.  This is fairly normal for 40 meters at that time of
day.  But I could not hear the sidetone in my earphones due to the high
winds.  For once in Oregon the rain was going sideways and upward.  
Seals got tested and did pretty well.  I am glad the bottoms of the
trees did not move.
