Good Evening Folks,
The two nets went pretty well. Twenty was much like it was yesterday. We did benefit from a couple of relays from the KX1 folks. Thank you Ray and Rick. There were times when signals were bouncing right over Tom and I. I had to relay to Tom once when he did not hear Ray and another time when I was working into Canada better than he was. Oddly he got Bruce in Minnesota very well on twenty meters. I would have thought they were too close. Forty was very noisy. Someone is getting hammered by the storm that drove Karl and I off Bald Peak yesterday. I enjoy the enthusiasm of our visitors. We try to have fun and see what it is like in your part of the world. I got another note from Geoff in far off Scotland. He was hearing Tom at 579 and me at 539 at 200z and 559 when we closed. Unfortunately he had a few SSB stations in contact as we were running the net. Propagation is a strange beast; who could ever predict these kind of conditions? Sorry about your stations in QSO Geoff. I keep hoping to hear you one of these days. Please keep trying and please keep us informed. Please email me with either or both of these at the address listed in the header. Thank you for your participation and support. 73, Kevin.
