Good evening folks. ECN/2 was held at 0200z on 7045.5 kHz. There was S5
to S7 noise the entire time so my ears are ringing. Bill, K1EV, ran the
net for a few calls and got a signal report (via email) from Geoff, GM4ESD
of 339. One of these days the band will be good enough for him to give us
a call. He is itching to do so.
But on to the list:
K2HYD - Ray - VA - KX1 - 608 very light and then gone
W0CZ - Ken - ND - K2 - 1031
W6KY - Art - CA - K1 - 141
N7NLU - Karl - OR - K2 - 4227 Thanks for reminding me to ask :)
K1EV - Bill - CT - K2 - 2152
N9IV - Russ - IN - KX1 - 742
W4ATK - Jim - AL - K2 - 4028
N5QVF - Dario - TX - K2 - 4327
N7CQR - Dan - OR - K2 - 1010
WA1ZCB - Ed - MA - K1 - 0888
AB9V - Mike - IN - K2 - 3993
K4YKI - Norm - KY - K1 - 760
Thank you all for hanging in with me to get the information through the
noise. Pat and I worked about eight hours yesterday working on a
carpentry project, then on to cutting and hauling firewood. My hands are
feeling the effects of being a lazy bum sitting on my keister too much.
If I missed a call or simply could not figure out your numbers it was
mainly because I am a bit tired. A bath in Ben Gay would be nice about
now :)
If there are any errors on the above list please be kind and send them to
me. I'll fix them tomorrow when I get a chance.
Thanks for all the calls tonight. It really makes this fun,
72 to some and 73 to all,
Kevin. KD5ONS (as ever, Net Control Operator 5th class)
