Elecraft CW Net Report for Aug 8, 2004

Kevin Rock
Fine signals and signal reports followed the net across the continent this
evening.  Bill checked a bit early as I was claiming a frequency.  Very
strong signal.  He was followed by Gary in Nova Scotia who decided it was
time for my 25 wpm test :)  Nice fist Gary!  Then we worked West with Ken
and then Tom.

Thanks Bill and Tom for relaying so many stations in from across the
country.

    The list:
K1EV - Bill - CT - K2 - 2152
VE1RGB - Gary - NS - K2 - 2519
W0CZ - Ken - ND - K2 - 1031
N0SS - Tom - MO - K2 - 008
KD5ELV - KD5JDW - Buddy - TX - K2 - 3491
NE5DL - Dave - TX - K2 - 2887
AA4NN - Joe - SC - K2 - 3751
K5VJZ - Tom - LA - K2 - 2279
K8ZT - Anthony - OH - K2 - 0652
W0QQS - Bruce - MN - K2 - 3646
KB0FB - Carl - IA - non Elecraft (but soon :)
WA1ZCB - Ed - MA - K1 - 0888

As always any mistakes in this list are mine.  Please correct me and I
will post the errata as it arrives.

This keeps getting more fun each week.  It really helps when the band is
cooperative.  I wonder what it will be like in four years when the cycles
comes around again?

Thank you all for your support.
73,  Kevin.   KD5ONS  (Net Control Operator 5th Class)

Oops! I dunno who KD5JDW is, but. ... I'm in PA, not TX. (I used to
live in TX, though!) Hmm. I might've r'membered my serial number
wrong, lemme see what my post says when I first got this
beastie. ...ah...yep, sure 'nuff says 3491, so unless someone read me
the serial number wrong and 3491 actually belongs to KD5JDW and I have
some other serial number, well, I dunno...but I checked in, and can't
say whether KD5JDW did or not :)

And it's KB5ELV ... even if you couldn't hear me (Kevin, you were like
an S3 here, and couldn't hear much of you at all!)

Also have KX1 #364, but didn't check in with it.
