Elecraft CW Net Report for January 31, 2005

Kevin Rock
Good Evening,
The two nets were interesting this evening.  Twenty meters started out
well.  A pile up split by Ken and then a call from Curt in Hawaii started
us off.  A few folks East of the Mississippi but not many.  I'm not sure
of Bruce because he sits right on top of it!  Forty meters was not too
noisy but the signals I heard were plagued by QSP as was mine from the
reports I was receiving.  On to the lists.

On 14050 kHz at 0000z:
N0SS - Tom - MO - K2 - 008
W0CZ - Ken - ND - K2 - 1031
AH6RE - Curt - HI - 100 watt rig
KD0RC - Len - CO - K2 - 2239
WG4S - Dan - GA - K2 - 2456
W0NTA - Dick - CO - K2 - 1787
N4SO - Ken - AL - K2 - 3394
KF0UR - Shel - CO - KX1 - SN in the future :)
N7NLU - Karl - OR - K2 - 4227
W0QQS - Bruce - MN - K2 - 3646

On 7045.5 kHz at 0300z:
KL7CW - Rick - AK - KX1 - 798
N0SS - Tom - MO - K2 - 008
K7TQ - Randy - ID - K2 - 213
W0NTA - Dick - CO - K?? - 1229
AB9V - Mike - IN - K2 - 3993

Twenty meters was closing to the East during the net and forty meters was
close to ESP at best so I am sure I missed a few folks trying to check in
this evening.

Thank you for joining us this evening.  If I missed you I am sorry but
please try again next week.
    73,
Kevin. KD5ONS  (Net Control Operator 5th Class)
