Good Evening, Twenty meters was very good today. Sitting at the rig watching the snow fall and working folks all over was fun. There was some QSB but not like on forty meters. The snow was coming down in large flakes but it was pretty bright outside. I was expecting the sun to break out but it did not. Then during the second net right at the end of my contact with W0CZ and the beginning of N0AR I saw one deer and then another. The dusk was growing deeper as I saw the second one. I was in a lighted room and must have moved too fast when I was writing because I spooked the second doe and she bolted. They were kicking through the snow to find something to eat. But I am working folks to the east much easier now. I am glad propagation has grown better. Maybe the fox hunts won't be so tough this week ;) Weather reports were of snow and cold all over the place. Now that we are in the depths of winter the northern plains are becoming frigid. Here I bounce between colder weather and mild weather from the south. As the snow line drops and raises again I get snow then sun then rain again. Over and over. I wonder how the roads will be for tomorrow's trip into town for supplies? Until next week stay well, 73, Kevin.
