Good Evening,
The bands were both less than stellar tonight. QSB was an often made
comment on 20 and once on 40. QRN was strong on 40 and then we had a BC
station land near us which called the show. But there were some folks
willing to put up with the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune.
Alaska was well represented but except for Gary in Nova Scotia and Mark in
Virginia there was no one east of the Mississippi. Even a normally strong
KD0RC had an attenuated signal here tonight. However, as long as I get
one check in I will keep calling the net.
Next week a well toasted Mr. Hammond will be back in Missouri;
hopefully well rested. But we all know how exhausting a good vacation can
be. So the remedy for him is to get back in the saddle, eat a little
catfish, and get on the air again!

There were a few very weak signals below my noise level which I simply
could not drag out. I am sorry but next week we can try again. Two of
the serial numbers are heartening. The K1 series is over two thousand and
the KX1 series is doing well at over eleven hundred. I am sure Wayne and
Eric are pleased with your support.
Thank you all for checking in or trying to. If there are any errors,
corrections, or fills in the above data please send them to me and I will
post it here and fix my database.
See you again next week,
Kevin. KD5ONS (Net Control Operator 5th Class)
