Good Evening,
Gradually the database is coming back together. About one more year of reports to enter to get back to where I was. Hopefully I will get all the information I had back into it. I am still gathering the serial numbers. This week there is only one gap. When I get everything entered I will go back to listing the check in count for each operator. Right now the numbers are in disarray since there is a big gap in the middle. WPX was active but not too difficult to avoid to find a working spot for both nets. Conditions were not good but good enough to get some of you. Twenty meters was weak while forty meters was weak and noisy. Viewing Space Weather shows a number of new sunspots popping up. There were aurora sightings in Wisconsin so they got somewhat lower than they have been lately. On to the lists => On 14049 kHz at 2200z: NO8V - John - MI - K3 - 820 AB9V - Mike - IN - K3 - 398 N0AR - Scott - MN - K2 - 4866 K1THP - Dave - CT - K3 - 686 W0RSR - Mike - CO - K2 - 5767 K6PJV - Dale - CA - K3 - 1183 N0TA - John - CO - K3 - 994 On 7044.5 kHz at 0000z: K6PJV - Dale - CA - K3 - 1183 K0DTJ - Brian - CA N0TA - John - CO - K3 - 994 AE6IC - Fred - CA - K3 - 3139 W0RSR - Mike - CO - K2 - 5767 N0TA - John - CO - K3 - 994 Weather has been chillier than normal. I did have one day of 70 degree weather last week but then right back to high 50s and low 60s. It sure would be nice if the weather would warm up enough to let the fire go out. I need a chance to do some maintenance on the stove and chimney. Caulking the doors would make it much more efficient again. Hopefully there will be a few warm days in June so I can get that chore finished. My front yard has two deer munching on the grass. They look in the window every once in a while to see what I am doing but don't mind me moving about. The ferns have shot up over the last couple days. Now they are starting to unroll. I am ready for a sunny and warm day. It would be nice to sit on the deck and just soak up some sun or read a book. Maybe some Umberto Eco or Muriel Barbery’s “The Elegance of the Hedgehog". Something which is not work related! Until next week stay well, 73, Kevin.
