Good Evening,
Twenty meters had QSB while forty had RTTY contesters and a very
loud tone slightly below 7047 kHz. This made me search for an open
frequency which I found at 7044 kHz. I called there until 0002z when I
switched back to around 7047 and found the contest was over. So I found
a spot away from that loud, steady tone and called some more.
On 14049.5 kHz at 2200z:
W0CZ - Ken - ND
K0DTJ - Brian - CA
N5ZC - Rich - TX
K4JPN - Steve - GA
On 7044 kHz then on 7046.57 kHz:
K0DTJ - Brian - CA
KG7V - Marv - WA
W0CZ - Ken - ND by proxy
The rain/snow line has been moving up and down all day. Currently it
is above me so it's raining. The reports I received were of mild, wet
weather except for Georgia which has sunny skies. At least I can feel
warm by association.
73,
Kevin. KD5ONS
