Elecraft CW Net Report

kevinr@coho.net
Good Evening,

Conditions lately have not been great.  QSB is constant which is an
oxymoron.  The noise level is not very high but neither are the signal
levels so it's a wash.  The sun continues its inactivity.

I was not able to get to last week's net report so we'll start with that.

   On 14050.5 kHz at 2200z   August 11, 2019

K6XK - Roy - IA     We exchanged information on our respective J-38s.

K4TO - Dave - KY  Was doing alright with a decent signal too.

   On 7047.5 kHz at 0000z    August 12, 2019

K6PJV - Dale - CA  Told me he would be celebrating his mother's 100th
birthday this week

W6JHB - Jim - CA   Jim also told me he would be gone this week.

   On 14050.5 kHz at 2200z    August 18, 2019

NO8V - John - MI   Reported normal August weather for lower Michigan:
hot and muggy.

AB9V - Mike - IN

K6XK - Roy - IA      Reported perfect weather - 72 degrees in Iowa in
August is pretty nice.

K0DTJ - Brian - CA   Brian also said he would be gone next week

   On 7047.5 kHz at 0000z    August 19, 2019

K0DTJ - Brian - CA    Fog rolled in and the temperature dropped

WM5F - Dwight - ID

Now back to reading my cases of Analog SF from the 50s, 60s, 70s, and
80s.  Spider Robinson, Joe Delaney, Jerry Pournelle, Joe Haldeman,
Harlan Ellison, Isaac Azimov, P. J. Plauger, Tak Hallus, Roger Zelazny,
and many, many more.  I don't think I have read these after I first got
them.  Fun.

Until next week stay well,

    73,

         Kevin.  KD5ONS
