Folks:
I'm told that Kevin, KD5ONS, has his house struck by a fallen tree as
a result of the severely high winds along the upper northwest. He may
not be in a position to call the ECNs this afternoon.evening.
If Kevin is NOT present for the nets, and if no one else picks it up,
I'll do me best to call the nets and drag in as many as I can hear!
If you join us this afternoon/evening, PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE to jump
in and offer assistance to me if you hear folks calling that I'm not
acknowledging. I will call for relays periodically, so if you hear
someone who has not been ACKed, please relay the station in to me. To
do so, just dump your call or whatever 'hail' you choose to use in
the same manner as when you check in. Once I recognize you, then
proceed to give me the relay(s).
IF conditions are suitable, I'll probably try to ask someone on each
coast to call for additional check-ins as well, because I'm certain
there will be some who won't be hearing me.
ECN 20 Meters - 14.050 MHz (+/- QRM) 0000Z
40 Meters - 7.045 MHz (+/- QRM) 0300Z
And if ANYONE else wants to call the net, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO DO
SO! I'll be happy to stand by and listen.
73,
Tom N0SS
