Howdy,
It appears there was a Southwestern version of the Elecraft CW Net last
night. Hopefully there was enough green chili stew and tortillas to pass
around!! I miss Southwestern cooking something fierce. Anyhow Willie
(longest callsign West of the Pecos) KH6NO/M/W7 could not find Tom or
yours truly while spinning the knob. So he decided to try the NCS hat on
for size. He wrangled a few folks from the Western part of the continent
and then grabbed Bill out of the aether in CT. One never can tell where
their signal will land can they?
His list (on 14050 kHz by the way):
N0EHQ -- but his signals were marginal so no name or QTH copied. << Ed
from Iowa >>
VE7OM - Ralph Near Vancouver, BC << Surrey, BC >>
K1EV - Bill CT He had nice signal when we started
K7UP - John New Mexico K2 QRP
All you all are checked and included in the database. With these five
more added to the list we totalled 34 QNI for the evening. Not quite a
new record but we tied the old one!! Way to go Willie.
73,
Kevin. KD5ONS
