Elecraft K2 hum on CW

DaveVK
Hi folks,

I recently posted about my raspy CW audio on the K2.  It is most evident on
20 and 40m.  My shack is grounded.

Today I replaced the RFC15 just to make sure that wasn't the issue.

I have removed the KPA 100 and returned the QRP lid.  The issue still
exists.

Any suggestions to clean the CW transmission up would be appreciated.  The
radio is not suitable for operation at present with the modulation on the CW
transmission.

Cheers,

Dave

Dave,

First try the VCOSHLDKT from Elecraft.  See my reflector post at 12:37
today.

Alternately, move anything containing a transformer 2 feet or more away
from the K2.
