Peter,
I had the same problem when I first built a KRC2ACC. The problem is that
the N4PY program polls the K2 frequently, and the K2 obediently returns the
frequency, the KRC2ACC is listening to the same data stream and it also
obeys by sounding off the frequency that was sent to it. Other programs
such as HRD do not do constant polling like that.
I know of no cures except convincing Carl to use another polling method, or
if you do not need the "ACC" part of the KRC2ACC, download the KRC2 firmware
from the Elecraft site and load it - the KRC2 will properly do the band
decoding and switching of the outputs, but will not produce the sounds
associated with the ACC part - that is intended primarily as an aid for
sight-impared persons, so I doubt if the Elecraft folks would be willing to
make a change in the functioning.
