Good Evening,
Here are a few of the net reports lying on my desk waiting to be free. Only a few more left and I am up to date. It was nice to have an antenna Sunday. I think it may be more directional than I would like. More testing is in order. However, being able to hear for miles on 160 meters is very interesting. Maybe one day I should send something on that band :) The unsettled sun has our ionosphere all aquiver so there is a lot of noise and various types of QSB. Some stations went from zero copy to full strength in only a few characters. When the pileups started it was tough to capture a single call due to the QSB. That and the howl when all of the callers are sending at once. On to three weeks of lists => Elecraft CW Net Report for January 15th & 16th, 2012 On 14050.5 kHz at 2300z: NO8V - John - MI - K3 - 820 AC5P - Mike - OK - K3 - 2170 K0DTJ - Brian - CA - K3 - 4113 N0AR - Scott - MN - K2 - 4866 W0CZ - Ken - ND - K3 - 457 K4JPN - Steve - GA - K2 - 1422 K1THP - Dave - CT - K3 - 686 AB9V - Mike - IN - K3 - 398 W8OV - Dave - TX - K3 - 3139 K6MGO - Bill - CA - K3 - 5181 N4RT - Ron - AL - K3 - 5436 K6DGW - Fred - CA - K3 - 642 On 7045 kHz at 0100z: NO8V - John - MI - K3 - 820 N0TA - John - CO - K3 - 994 N4RT - Ron - AL - K3 - 5436 K1THP - Dave - CT - K3 - 686 N0AR - Scott - MN - K2 - 4866 K4JPN - Steve - GA - K2 - 1422 K0DTJ - Brian - CA - K3 - 4113 W8OV - Dave - TX - K3 - 3139 KM5PS - John - AR - K3 - 3906 Net Report for January 22nd & 23rd, 2012 W0CZ 569 KEN FARGO ND N7HTS 559 WY K3 #6062 K0DTJ 439 K1THP 589 DAVE CT K4JPN 429 W8OV 579 DAVE PLANO TX K3 #3139 K2DGM 559 MARK GREEN BROOK NJ 23/0100Z 40M W8OV 589 K0DTJ 589 Elecraft CW Net Report for January 29th & 30th, 2012 On 14050 kHz at 2300z: K6MGO - Bill - CA - K3 - 5181 K1THP - Dave - CT - K3 - 686 K4JPN - Steve - GA - K2 - 1422 N0AR - Scott - MN - K2 - 4866 N4RT - Ron - AL - K3 - 5436 W0CZ - Ken - ND - K3 - 457 KN5L - John - TX - K3 - 4448 K5OAI - Sam - TX - K3 - 4123 On 7045 kHz at 0100z: NO8V - John - MI - K3 - 820 KC2EET - Sidney - TX N4RT - Ron - AL - K3 - 5436 K0DTJ - Brian - CA - K1 - 1124 K1THP - Dave - CT - K3 - 686 W0CZ - Ken - ND - K3 - 457 K6PJV - Dale - CA - K3 - 1183 N0AR - Scott - MN - K2 - 4866 K6DGW - Fred - CA - K3 - 642 N6KN - Rocco - CA KN5L - John - TX - K3 - 4448 Hopefully I got all the data correct. Now to get out the last few reports so I can start afresh. I am glad I am not in Alaska or Canada right now. Record weather up there. But I guess we are setting records down south in Oregon too. Just not as rigorous a test as that in the Frozen North. I am sure the folks in North Dakota, Minnesota, and those in the U. P. are not going to say a word about the mild winter they are having. Wouldn't want to break the spell now when the end is only two months (or so) away. Until next week stay well, 73, Kevin.
