This evening I called on the 40 and 20m bands at 0130 and heard nobody
except one Q1 call maybe. At 0230 I heard nobody on 20m. On 40 we had these check-ins: WE6A Doc, Near L.A. CA, first time check-in using a Signal One CX-7. K3 due in a week or so. W5HFS Jim, using IC-706, very interested in K3 KA5KKT Dick, Kentucky, K3 on order KM5Q Windy, Santa Fe, NM, K3 - Net ended 0305 Net schedule is shown below. I may be reducing my activities and announcements, so please put this on your calendar if you are interested. This seems to be a viable schedule. Both times and bands have been successful at various times. I will NOT be around this coming Thurs. or Sunday. Hi Windy,
I heard you on 40m last night but, could barely read you. There was some QSB and I was fighting some local QRN. Anyway, I called but, you couldn't hear me. It's pretty hard with ten watts sometimes. All the more reason to get the 100 watt version of the K3. I'm also hoping to get my other rig up and running soon.
