Using the Sunday schedule of 1800 UTC, 14.316, I called the net (the
lazy way, using my K3 DVR). Over the course of 1 1/2 hours, we had lots of activity and few discussions, ending with friendly ragchew. I estimate each station could copy about 2/3 of the other participants. Conditions were relatively steady, so it went well. During the hour before the net, there is an Icom net on freq., but like last year, they closed before the hour was through, leaving us a clear frequency. Check-ins today: KM5Q Windy all using K3/100 except where noted K7SJ Roger KG0KP Jim W0NTA Dick KG0KB Jim NS7P Phil KA5KKT Dick W7QHB Kurt K2/100 W3NF Roy WB2ART Ken AB2TC Tim KB4TZK John W8FU Bruce KB0YH Gus -- off at 1937 UTC Thanks everybody! That's a big change from last Spring -- Lot's of K3's now -- but all are welcome. Nobody expressed interest in re-initiating the 40m evening net. 73!
