I heard nobody tonight. There was another QSO on 7190. I called 2Kc
higher and 2Kc lower for 8 minutes, but heard nobody. I suggest that if you hear nobody on or around the frequency, find the nearest clear spot and call it yourself. You don't commit yourself to being net control, you just put the signal out to see if anyone is lurking. We were off to a good start a few weeks ago, but activity has faded. I hope we can get active enough to at least maintain a meeting point. If there isn't much interest, maybe we should go to one night per week. do you think you could announce this earlier - like at least 12 hours
before - since I'd like to have a go, but I'm many hours ahead of you and I forget. Please post the time and freq again and I'll put a reminder in my iCal -- If all our misfortunes were laid in one common heap whence everyone must take an equal portion, most people would be contented to take their own and depart. -Socrates (469?-399 B.C.) David,
The 0200 UTC time is evening here, better for most folks in N. America. You might try starting an Elecraft Euro net. When propagation allows, we can hop the pond. EVERYONE, Find the net schedules at: http://www.zerobeat.net/mediawiki/index.php/Main_Page Scroll down to "User Nets" -- At time of this message, the 20m freq. has not yet been updated. It should be 14.316. If there's another QSO close to frequency, tune around. If you hear nobody, call the net yourself. There may not be any "official" net control present. Thanks Windy KM5Q

Is there anyome in Europe interested in a K3 Euro SSB net ? -- God gives every bird his worm, but he does not throw it into the nest. -Swedish proverb On 28 Mar 2008, at 16:19, Windy Dankoff KM5Q wrote: > > David, > The 0200 UTC time is evening here, better for most folks in N. > America. How about net on 20m.
I cannot reach on 20m to the destinations k3-boxes have landed. Another idea: let us call it Elecraft-net. K2 would be welcome, K3s are not so numerous, after all. Yes, I've made the same mistake they did in the US - I had no
intention of excluding any SSB capable Elecraft. I'm open to suggestions on time and freq - in fact, I don't have enough experience to know the best band at a given time - but thought I'd poll anyway. 73 de M0XDF, K3 #174 -- Anyone can do any amount of work, provided it isn't the work he is supposed to be doing at that moment. -Robert Benchley On 29 Mar 2008, at 14:24, Benny Aumala wrote: > How about net on 20m. > I cannot reach on 20m to the destinations > k3-boxes have landed. > Another idea: let us call it Elecraft-net. > K2 would be welcome, K3s are not so numerous, after all. > > Benny OH9NB > > K2 #3969 > K2 #119 _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list.
