Can anyone give me an idea of the time is takes for goods to reach the UK?

On second thoughts Thomas, why not get delivery delivered until your
return so that someone else can be receive their K3 a littel earlier? Allow a couple of weeks for delivery as the package will be directed
through Customs for VAT to be charged, plus the Royal Mail handling fee. Depending how far back in the queue you are, it could be late August or even September before it arrives. In the past, I've been pretty impressed with the speed of delivery. I seem to remember when I ordered my K2 kit it took less than a week. I think the post office will hang on to undeliverable packages for 14 days before returning them to the sender. I want to check the various possible mismatches between the
(coax)feedline and antenna feedpoint( adjustable loaded dipole ). What is the influence - if any - of the Elecraft 30 dB directional coupler ( mounted in the mast right at the antenna's feedpoint ) on the transition from feedline to antenne feedpoint ? Does the directional coupler cause an ( extra ) impedance jump between feedline and antenna feedpoint , disturbing the values of the FW and Rev readings ? It usually takes about a week and a half. A directional coupler similar to the Elecraft CP1 is used in many wattmeter applications, and should not create any unusual impedance discontinuity. I seem to remember previous packages show "Arrived at hub" and "Awaiting Customs clearance" etc, but I don't recall anyhting sitting at "Handed Over" for 13 days before. Lisa reports that others are reporting missing/delayed parcels that were shipped on the 11th. Is anyone else having this problem? Has anyone (UK or US) taken delivery of a parcel that shipped from Aptos on the 11th June?
