Wayne gave a well-received talk on the K3's ergonomic design (and its
electrical design) at the Contest Dinner and was on hand all day Saturday at
the Elecraft booth, patiently handling questions.  Brian was at the Elecraft
Booth about non-stop from setup Friday through teardown Saturday afternoon
answering questions and taking orders.

The KRX3 second receiver option was installed in one of the display K3s and
was available for playing around.  Another KRX3 with its tin-plated steel
shield, was separately available for examination.  Installation of the KRX3
with shield and KPA3 brings the total weight of a K3 up to 10 pounds.
Delivery to Field Testers is imminent (perhaps even this week).

No power amplifiers were on the table.

Rose Kopp's Elecraft K3 cover and also her new K3 carrying case (with a K3
in it) was on the table. I'm going to get one of the fabric carrying cases,
they're quite nice.

I also heard August mentioned as the estimated delivery date for a K3
ordered at Visalia.
