Elecraft at the Orlando ARRL Hamcation this weekend

dhhdeh
Eric,

Please see if you can convince some of the folks
in Orlando to take some really good jpegs of the
full 'K line' station and post them on the
internet for us to see, especially the KPA500.

Any estimates on its date availability?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Elecraft at the Orlando ARRL Hamcation this weekend

I just left the Elecraft booth an hour or so ago and the "K-Line" (LOVE that
name) did look great with the K3-P3-KPA500 combination bolted side-by-side. With
the amp at 26 pounds in weight per Eric, I'd guess the whole station comes out
well under 50 pounds .  Of course you have to add a DC supply for the K3 but you
might still get in under 50 lbs overall even with a KAT500R added.  IMPRESSIVE!!

I live in Silicon Valley not that far from Elecraft and that's USUALLY where I
see Eric.  But I'm in Florida visiting a relative so thought I would check out
the Hamcation.  Since Eric wasn't expecting to see me it was fun to see his
little double-take when he did and admitted to wondering for a millisecond if he
had REALLY just traveled 2500 miles :-)  It's a pretty decent show - check it
out if you can,
73, Barry K6RM
