Elecraft: remoting the KAT 100 and KPA 100

Dave White-3
How far (distance) can I remote a KPA 100/KAT100 combination from the K2.
Has anyone tried 50 or 100 feet?  What's the collective experience out
there?

Thanks

Dave

Hi

Five or six feet should work but I would think 50 ft may be asking too much. The aux buss is not really designed for long distance. The delays and/or driving long cables may give you problems. I have not tried it so I am just guessing might be worth a try though.
