Email Overload

Bill W4ZV

 >Now maybe some people may see the value of a web based
Forum...no email choking your mailbox. For the record
my freebie Yahoo account has rather limited filtering
capability, so filtering is not really a good option
for me.

You can do that here.  I'm subscribed to
many reflectors but never receive any direct emails.
I read posts on the web archives, set my email
option to "Mail disabled" and then simply compose
my messages using cut and paste in my email program
if I want to include any previous comments.

Here's the complete May archive for Elecraft:

http://www.ac6rm.net/mailarchive/html/elecraft-list/2007-05/index.html

You can see all posts and click only those of interest.
When you need to go to June, go below and then bookmark
June for that month's postings:

To set "Mail disabled" go here:

http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft

...enter your email in the bottom box and then
click "Unsubscribe or edit options"

on the next page enter your password and click "Login"

on the next page scroll down to "Mail Delivery" and
click "Disabled".

Now you can read and post messages without ever
receiving a single email!

                                         73,  Bill  W4ZV
