External reference freq

WA4KBD
I'm very happy to to note an external frequency reference jack on the K3's rear panel.  What is the required ext. ref. freq?

This is likely to be 10 MHz. The external reference card is not on the
order form yet and isn't likely to be available at time of first
shipments. Once we have the details, we'll let you know.

RE: External reference freq

W8YMO
Hi Wayne,

I hope you use 10 MHz for the external reference freq with auto start.

I am now using two high end rigs that each have an external reference of 10
MHz from a GPS controlled source.  Both are auto start and work very well.
Very neat <g>.
