FCC ID and DOC #

Guy Hamblen
I'm taking my K2 traveling to St. Lucia.  Pre-customs paperwork is
asking for the FCC ID & DOC #.  I've looked in the manuals, on the
elecraft webpage, etc. to no avail.

Can anyone direct me to a link for this info please?  Or do I have to
email Elecraft directly?

Thanks in advance,

Guy, N7UN/2

Is this US Customs or St. Lucia Customs?

AFAIK there is no such thing as "FCC ID" for a transceiver of
this sort but check with Elecraft to see if they have ever run
  into this.

DOC # may refer to the equivalent in Canada's Department of
  Communications.  Again, check with Elecraft.

An amateur bands-only transceiver capable of operating strictly within Part
97 spectrum is exempt from FCC importation certification/authorization.  See
47 CFR 2.1204(a)(2).  This rule is further exemplified under ET Docket No.
03-108; FCC 07-66. "Cognitive Radio Technologies and Software Defined
Radios."
