True. But as soon as you widen to 650 Hz, the next
higher roofing filter kicks in and (in my somewhat limited
experience of 8 days) there is a *HUGE* difference in desense
susceptibility between the 500 Hz and higher BW filters. Living
in the land of GIANT signals where I do on 160, DUAL PB would
be virtually unusable without the 500 Hz filter.
