FP Mic Cover

NK7Z
Hello all,

This is for the person, (sorry I forgot your name),  who mentioned he
put a small prescription bottle cap of some sort over his microphone
connector on the front panel of the K3 in order to protect the
microphone pins, and keep dust out.

I just discovered that the little metal caps used to protect/cover a
PL-259 coax connector also fits the microphone jack mounted on the front
panel of the K3.  The one I have has a small soft rubber insert, so pin
shorting is not an issue.

The pins are recessed slightly so a metal cap should not be an issue
even without a gasket.
