I picked up a little group of PA boards which have two MRF454 transistors driven by a pair of 2SC1969 transistors. These were from unused medical devices. I do not have schematics for them, but they are similar to the Motorola AN-762 amp with an added driver stage (
http://db0lj.prgm.org/boxfiles/technik/an762rev0.pdf). Probably can drive theses with a QRPp rig. Might be fun for someone to play with... I have four of them: Asking U$35 each delivered CONUS or $125 for all four.
... and my "old" K3 is on the way home from Elecraft repair... plus a couple more more mods I missed hihi
