Yes - but it also calls for a little common sense! If this is such an
important issue, go to your local hardware store and buy yourself a kitchen
timer. Much simpler than asking a company to do your work for you.

Seeing a request like this points out how diverse a group the K3 users are.

What I'd really like to see is a second antenna port that I don't have
to pay $300 for since it's bundled with an antenna tuner I don't
want/need....

I certainly second that suggestion Ross! Since my K3 drives an amplifier and
I use an AT-AUTO tuner after the amp, I can't see purchasing the Elecraft
tuner, at a cost of $300 just to get one extra antenna port.

Having a K3 without an antenna tuner is like buying a car without air
conditioning. While you may not need it today, you might someday. And, if
you ever want to sell it, it will be worth more with it than without it.

P.S. I don't always use my internal tuner, but I have used the tuner a
couple of times and it works great.
