I therefore obtained the following cost info off the web. It seems that the
Collins 75S-3C receiver cost about $750.00 in 1967. According to an
inflation calculator I found, that's the equivalent of about $4200.00 today,
and it's only a receiver.
Should it then be a big surprise that the IC-7800 with its two independent
receivers (and transmitter) costs $10K+?
