Could it be that technology, especially digital technology is dragging us
into ever deeper Balkanization where community (hmmm...same root as
communications?) is no longer a goal?
Oh...dear me...I wasn't looking at this right. This is 'diversity.'

Subject: [Elecraft] Tree huggers? (K2 & K3 Odd Couple?)
"The list has been dominated by CW fans probably more than anything.
What is more scary than adding contesters is adding SSB contesters.
SSB-QRO-SUV-contesters plus
CW-QRP-kitbuilding-treehuggers in the same room. This ought to be fun :-)"
OK, now you've slighted the digital contesters, the my antenna is better
than your antenna crowd, the solar power folks, the straight key vs iambic
keyers duelers, the kenwood vs yaesu microphone afficiandos... ;o)
I concur with toby.. well except if by QRO he means over 150W, then all bets
are off...
Gosh, can you imagine how horrible it will be in here when the amps are
finally for sale.... hmmmm...
Cheers and have a great weekend, maybe even catch you in a contest!
