2 Feb 2008 I will be operating in the FYBO 2008 contest.
My QTH will be out on the Appalachian Trail.
I plan to be on the air around 14:00 UTC and operate until 20:00 UTC.
My rig will be the Elecraft K1 @ 5 w and the BWV ( Black Widow Vertical.)
I will be on 40, 20 and I will try 15m starting at 16:00 UTC. I will call CQ
on 15m for 10 minutes on the top of every hour.
I will be around the usual QRP frequencies.
I will be working towards my 1,000th QSO from the Appalachian Trail. I
currently have 901 QSO's.
I am looking for any countries, I currently have 24 from the AT.
I am looking for the following states: HI, MT and SD.
