Hello,
The Polar Bear will be out and about on the trails working anyone they can
get their paws on during the Feb PBMME and the FYBO.

I will be out on the Appalachian Trail working other Polar Bears and the
FYBO contest. Going out early, 14:00 UTC to grab up on the colder wx before
the warm up comes into the Eastern half of the U.S.A.
I have my 1,000th QSO from the Appalachian trail but I need 10 more QSO's to
reach my 1,000th CW QSO from the AT.
I will be out using my Elecraft K1 on 40, 30 (non-FYBO QSO's), 20 and 15m
running 4 to 5watts into either my Black Widow Vertical (BWV) or a Carolina
Windom.
