I think a much better choice for Field Day or any contest is RUMped from RUMsoft  (DL2RUM.de)

A very complete contest program.   There's even a built in template for Field Day.

Ricardo,
I agree with Rick, RUMped is the better choice for contest logging. I
also think RUMLog is the better choice for general purpose logging
software, too.

I'll submit this as an option too across Mac, PC and linux platforms, all at
the same time.

FDLog http://www.fdlog.info/ requires the installation of Python 2.7x (NOT
3) which is painless (if Vista/Win7/Win8 install off the ROOT directory).
It's what we use at our FD site (the author attends) but we also take the
time to build up a local WiFi network for the computers which enables us to
see who is active on what band, making each node up to date on the entire
log (so if one node crumps, nothing is lost), time keeping and other nerdy
features.

As with any software, get used to it BEFORE you need it.  ;o)

Ummm,   MacLogger supports ARRL Field Day and 16 other ARRL contests with templates.  Plus dozens and dozens of other contests.

RumLog is an excellent program, but I prefer MLDX overall, and use it as my primary logging program. It supports import/export of ADIF files, both XML and otherwise, Cabrillo, as well as v4 log.dat files and Google KML. it supports eQSL and LoTW, QRZ and other online call sign databases, ClubLog, and has a contest helper with by-band dupe checking, plus much more.

When's the last time you looked at MLDX on your screen? It has evolved and expanded its feature set greatly in the last few years.

When was the last time?  Probably about two weeks ago.

I have run both MLDX and RUMlog / RUMped together for over 5 years.  When you spend as much as I have for MLDX you keep giving it a try.

I find that for my operating, DX'ing and casual contesting the DL2RUM software can't be beat, especially for a K3 owner.

The K3 control screen with direct access to macros, etc. and the direct access to FSK-D and PSK-D are my main methods for those modes.

At any rate, this is not the place for a long discussion about Mac logging programs but I would be glad to carry on an exchange via email.  

BTW, the ESM mode in RUMped is a total joy to use.  Two Enter keys and move on.  Love it!
