Fillet

john.brewer
If one is in the business of building boards commercially, a fillet is
expected as a sign of an acceptable joint.

Does it matter? I don't know, but I suspect if it didn't, then most
of industry wouldn't care about it as much as they do.

I did fillets on all the joints on my K2/100.
I think it's easier to see a cold solder joint with a fillet on the pad.
If the joint is cold you won't get a proper looking fillet.
I also used enough solder on each joint to fill the pad.
