Firmware version question: K2

k7gt

I have firmware 2.04/1.09 in my K2. As I am contemplating getting the
K60XV mod kit to allow my K2 to use low-level signals to interface with
an
XV144, I have checked out the K60XV order page. An item  FWSSB is shown
there stating that it is needed to use SSB with low-level transverter
interface.
Are not these features already in firmware 2.04/1.09??

Allan,

No - that caution is referring to the firmware IC on the KSB2 board.
You will need 1.08
