In a future FW release i would like to see:
K3 does not key KEY OUT if PWR is set above a user-setable level. This protects your gear (amp) connected to your antenna socket from excessive drive. Seamless PWR setting. When the PWR-knob reaches the end of the range, reading wraps around, e.g. 100watts -> milliwatts Martin -- 73, DM4iM ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html |

I don't think so - apart from anything else, that would be very difficult for the poorly sighted.
This would be counter intuitive for anyone, nothing else works this way on the K3 or indeed, very little in life. 73 de M0XDF -- I know that you believe that you understood what you think I said, but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant. - Robert McCloskey, State Department spokesman (attributed) On 16 Feb 2010, at 08:42, Ian Maude wrote: > Please no! > > 73 Ian > > On 15 February 2010 22:35, DM4iM <[hidden email]> wrote: > >> >> >> Seamless PWR setting.
