Fixed audio out

I would never drill an Elecraft case... If you have already used the transverter holes, I'd opt to use the loudspeaker socket.

I've got the fixed level board all soldered up for my K2/100 and now
I've got a question.
What to do with the output?
Dedicated jack which means drilling the case or unused pin on the mic jack?
I'm kinda leaning toward the mic jack as it eliminates and audio cable
to my Signalink USB interface, but, using the jack means I can use the
K2 with anybody's interface in a pinch.

What do you think?

I drilled mine and it survived. And I am not noted for my DIY skills. :)

I have an RCA phono socket mounted just below the (unused) transverter out socket. The transverter holes are too big for any standard audio output socket. And having the socket on the top half of the case means one more thing to disconnect when you take the top off. Drilling a hole to mount the socket on the bottom half allows the cable to be routed neatly round the edges, and left in place whenever you remove the top.
