I have a K2 serial number 1661 for sale or trade. It is in good electrical and physical condition. It has the following options: KAT2 - Internal 20W tuner KSB2 - SSB option K160RX - 160 m KNB2 - Noise Blanker KBT2 - Internal battery kit (new battery from Elecraft last week) KAF2 - Audio Filter/RTC (new from Elecraft last week, still unassembled) Kenwood MC-43S Hand Mic N0SS T/R keying kit will be included, not installed I put the latest firmware in last week (2.04 and 1.09) and realigned the filters using Spectrogram software. I bought the radio a few weeks ago with the intention of using it portable, traveling etc. I find it is a little bigger and heavier (especially with the internal battery) than I want. (a lot of the traveling will be by motorcycle) I do not know the history of the radio as I bought it from a large Ham Radio Dealer who took it in on trade. It appears to work well, I have made several cw qso's on it, but I don't operate SSB. I did check it out by listening on another receiver and it sounded fine on SSB. It has 10- 15 watts on all bands except 10m which is about 8 watts as indicated on my external meter. I have not done any alignments except for the filter and other CAL necessary when changing firmware. It does have one extra hole drilled in the back near the transverter holes. It had a pigtail coming out from a direct connection to the battery for fast charging I assume. I put in a new battery last week and returned the battery option to stock configuration. I was going to use the extra hole to install a external T/R option to key a small amp if needed. In fact I have the N0SS T/R kit on the way and I will include it as well. It comes with all the manuals, power connector, (no cord), frequency counter cable, and Allen wrenches. I can send pictures if interested. Sorry for the long description, but I wanted to describe it as accurate as possible. I will sell it for $679 including shipping and insurance in the US (Postal money order only please), or will take a KX-1 with the 80/30 module and tuner in trade.
