If I have FSK-D mode active and I am operating split, if I try to change
mode say to CW, the mode change button changes the VFOA frequency instead. Only when I hold SPLIT to return to simplex can I change mode. I have just noticed this happens in CW mode too. Go into split and then try to change mode. The VFOB area warns that split is not available (even though it is already operating) and mode down increments the VFOA frequency, whilst mode up will change to LSB (I'm on 40m) but reports that split is n/a even though split is still active. In all cases both VFOs are on the same mode. I wonder if this is a bug which has crept in somewhere? Running 4.25 on the K3 and 1.04 on the P3. I have done a quick search of the archives but not seen this mentioned inso far as I can see. Maybe it's my age :-) 73 Stephen G4SJP ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html |

I do not see any change in the VFO Frequency when I try to change mode while split in Digital modes. The "Split n/a" only happens when you try to change to or from digital mode. If I'm split with both VFOs CW and try to change VFO A to SSB, it works just fine. Similarly, if I'm split in SSB and change one VFO to CW it works just fine. The only "problem" is changing to SSB/Digital or CW/Digital which is not allowed. If one VFO is digital and the other is CW or SSB, you can't change the split status ... you will see "Split n/a." 73, ...
