Fusing

Edward A. Dauer
Perish the thought !

I have the power cable to the K3 fused on both leads using automobile-type blade fuse holders wired into Power Pole connectors at both ends.  The low power accessories like the P3, PR6-10, remote antenna switch, etc.  are individually fused on their positive sides.  What I don’t want is to have an accessory develop a problem and take out the main rig when its fuse blows.  In accordance with Murphy’s Law that will happen when a P5 is working a pileup and I’m next.

Are folks hooking their radios directly to the power supply without a fuse
inline?  I noted that the Elecraft supplied cable for my K3S did not
    include a fuse.
