Future firmware bonus - K3

Jim Denneny
I don't know if this is possible, but a firmware  upgrade to enable K3 full
duplex operation with XV-144 and XV-432 transverters would enable K3 owners
to operate various satellites in vhf/uhf and uhf/vhf modes.  Eric - food for
thought.

Re: Future firmware bonus - K3

This type of operation was discussed when the K3 was originally
announced. It seems to take more than just firmware -- questions were
raised about shielding ...

I see it is in the FAQ under Transverter Topics along with the
original question, 'can the TX freq be changed while  transmitting
(Doppler)?'
