Fw: K1 Manual Errata Sheet - add these?

Lee Bahr
I just built one and ran into no confusion with the manual as is.  But, your
stuff can't hurt.  I didn't have any problem figuring out you can't put a
knob on a shaft with the set screws set deeply into the knobs.  I didn't
have any problem figuring out what was "top" and what was "bottom".  As for
how to position an IC, well you put the notch of the chip just like the
outline on the circuit board shows.  What's the problem?   As for shorts!
They tell you to do ohm meter resistance checks first to look for shorts
before applying power.  So I don't see a need to limit the power supply
within reason when initially applying power.  If a part goes thru a board
and you can't solder it easily on one side, I don't need a manual to tell me
to do it on the other side.  (I am not a blond).. I thought the diagrams
were excellent.  When you got the box, did you need instructions on which
side to open it?  As I said, your stuff does no harm but most of what you
are saying is obvious. I had zero problem with the manual as it is.
