I've noticed a similar odd issue when using the Winlink program "Airmail", after quitting the HF module the K3 is returned to it's original frequency but with the 6 KHz bandwidth filter instead of the 2.8 KHz one... Rather strange as on USB that filter is not enabled. 73 Dave, G4AON K3/100 #80 MCU f/w 2.02, DSP f/w 1.78 ------------------------------------------------------- Do either of you guys use computer software to control the radio, perchance? I recently identified a problem where filter settings were not properly being stored or restored when changing bands by software command. Perhaps other settings are getting lost or confused as well. ----- Julian, G4ILO K3 s/n: 222 K2 s/n: 392 _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list. That's definitely the issue I identified, which Wayne fixed yesterday.

Computer is only used for logging. The only time I use it to control the radio is spots and in contests for requested QSYs.
