I was hoping that Equalization Memories will be
available in the future. I'm using headset connected to the front of the radio and studio MIC on the back. With my set up it is not practical to use K3 EQ. It's on the list for one set of TX EQ settings for each FP and RP mic
sources. The correct "set" would come up based on the MIC SEL setting. 73 Greg AB7R -----Original Message----- From: [hidden email] [mailto:[hidden email]]On Behalf Of mark roz Sent: Monday, February 18, 2008 8:11 AM To: Elecraft Subject: Fwd: [Elecraft] K3 Equalization Memories - Missing? Argh! I agree with the others that multiple TX EQ settings are a "must." Even with the Mark V, I've discovered that it's often very worthwhile to change transmit bandwidth, turn off/on the EDSP modulation and select from among the built in EDSP EQ based on conditions or operating style. A single setting - even one setting for the front panel input and one for the back panel input - don't do the K3 justice. 73, ...
