   dr. Ed,

As far as I understand the K3 is that that function was built into the rig to keep it from getting
fried
by a errant power surge to begin with.  I don't think that there's any settings within the menus
to accomplish that!!!  Again it's BUILT IN if I'm correct!  If not somebody tell us differently!
