I have been the Buddipole since over 2 years now, and I very
satisfied. The quality of construction and the RF results are excellent for a portable antenna. I have the deluxe package. Budd W3FF always delevery mature and finished products. I'm in contact with him very often. I will receive in a few weeks another parts that will permit to build a 2 elements yagi on 6M with the Buddipole package. I did a lot of DX contacts, even using QRP power !!! If you ever need or want quality and you want to buy only once, this is THE antenna. Look at my website for many pics about different configuration with this antenna... even on 80M !! http://homepage.mac.com/jfmenard/ 73 ============================================= /¯\/¯\/¯\/¯\/¯\/¯\ JEAN-FRANCOIS MENARD V A 2 V Y Z \_/\_/\_/\_/\_/\_/ FISTS #11896 Elecraft K2 #4130 Elecraft KX1 #999 http://homepage.mac.com/jfmenard ============================================= Le 05-11-26 à 14:02, Yves Dussault a écrit : > Any of you been using it? > Satisfied? > > Yves Dussault-VE2ATD > Laval, QC > > _______________________________________________ > Elecraft mailing list > Post to: [hidden email] > You must be a subscriber to post to the list. > Subscriber Info (Addr. Jean: I agree with your assessment on the Buddipole. Only gripe I have
is with the "coil contacts". Easy to loose and at $4.+ each to replace, has caused me to focus on "behaviour modification". I should be working on that anyway. Bill, I leave the coil contact always there, on each color marker. I
bought a second of "coil contact" set to fully cover all color markers and I put a few drops of glue on each... so they can't loose anymore... At 12$ a set, don,t loose them too often !!! ;-) ============================================= /¯\/¯\/¯\/¯\/¯\/¯\ JEAN-FRANCOIS MENARD V A 2 V Y Z \_/\_/\_/\_/\_/\_/ FISTS #11896 Elecraft K2 #4130 Elecraft KX1 #999 http://homepage.mac.com/jfmenard ============================================= Le 05-11-26 à 15:36, Bill Harris a écrit : > Jean: I agree with your assessment on the Buddipole.
