[Fwd: Re: K3 - CQWW SSB Observations - R U kidding?]

Dunc Carter - W5DC
Even though I have resonant vertical dipoles, I have found the tuner
gives more flexibility in tuning.  We had a snow storm this week that
dumped almost two feet of snow over a two day period.  The antenna
tuning changed quite a bit while the feed point and antenna ends and
other parts such as where the antenna elements pass through my deck were
covered with snow but the tuner handled these changes without a problem
and I continued to make contacts as usual.  I do have a short feedline
so added loss from swr is not an issue.  I have limited space and a hoa
issue; I have permission for the antenna provided that it's unobtrusive.
