Fwd: Re: Monitor output...

Gary K9GS

I've also thought of getting some type of panadaptor.  Initially I was
drawn to to the LP-Pan due to the cost being so much less than the K3.
Then I started looking at having to upgrade the shack computer to
accommodate a high performance sound card and the cost differential went
away pretty fast.

I'm encouraged by what I've read here on the P3 and can't wait to see
one at Dayton.  I'm thinking a P3 driving a nice big 20 something inch
monitor would be the way to go.

Speaking of big monitors...wouldn't it make more sense for the P3 output
to be DVI instead of SVGA?  Don't most of the larger/higher performance
monitors have DVI inputs or do they all have both?  I have a pair of 20"
monitors on the shack computer currently that I believe have both but I
don't know if dual inputs is the norm or not??
